You might know me from tweeting along with @PGATOUR from 2008 to 2014 or have seen me speak onstage. Perhaps you’ve only known me as a co-op preschool parent or a distant 1st connection on LinkedIn. Just know that I'm glad we've found each other here!

I declared late in my undergrad studies that I had no desire to ever return to HigherEd for an MBA — but that someday I would want to pursue a study of fandom in culture. I would design my thesis across sociology, communications, and marketing to explore the evolution of humanity’s innate nature to assimilate in groups now accelerated by technology and social media.

Grad school hasn’t been part of my story (yet). Still, I’ve studied this thesis of “Brand to Fan” throughout my career, starting as the “Social Media & Fan Engagement” lead at the PGA TOUR starting at age 23.

My hypothesis stretched and pulled when I advised the world’s “most interesting brands” on marketing strategies, content marketing, and social media engagement as part of the Convince & Convert consulting team.

On this journey, I’ve become convinced that regardless of industry, product, or service, the Brand to Fan approach supersedes B2B or B2C, or any other acronym. Fandom launches businesses from existing to unforgettable.

The world needs to hear our big ideas, and this is mine. On the Brand to Fan Show, I interview experts and influencers to explore how brands can cultivate fandom and why that's important.

Weekly episodes deconstruct how to create experiences that lead to an exchange of the currency of loyalty and advocacy -- and how your business or brand can connect with audiences on a personal, emotional, and transactional level that ensures loyalty and longevity.


My habit of getting into spaces you or I wouldn’t necessarily expect – like standing on the first tee alongside Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus — continues for the Brand to Fan Show. That means I get to bring you up close with incredible guests who are experts, influencers, and fascinating professionals, to hear how Fandom has influenced their careers and what they cheer for in business and life.

The first episodes are interviews with a 6-time best-selling author (Jay Baer), a groundbreaking futurist (Brian Fanzo), and one of the world’s only female NFLPA licensed contract advisors (Farren Benjamin).
